About Grammarly

Checks grammar, clarity and tone as you write, in the browser, in many blog editors and in its own apps.

Grammarly checks spelling, grammar, punctuation and clarity as you type. Its browser extension works inside many web editors, so it can underline problems directly in the WordPress block editor, a newsletter composer or a social post box, without copying text into another app.

The free version covers the basic corrections. Paid plans add suggestions for rewriting whole sentences, adjusting tone and making text more concise, plus generative features for drafting and rewording.

For bloggers, the main value is catching the small errors that slip through when you edit your own work late at night. It can be too eager with style suggestions, so accept changes one by one rather than all at once, and ignore anything that flattens the way you naturally write. A post that sounds like you matters more than one that scores well.
