AI search engine that answers with numbered citations, useful for checking facts before you publish.
Perplexity is an AI search engine. You ask a question in plain language and it answers in a few paragraphs with numbered citations to the web pages it used. Follow-up questions keep the context, so you can narrow a topic step by step.
For bloggers it is a quick way to research a post: get an overview of a subject, find sources to read properly, and check a date, a figure or a claim before it goes into an article. The citations make it easier to verify than an answer with no sources.
Open the sources before you rely on them. Summaries can drop caveats or misread a page, and a blog that links to the original source earns more trust than one that repeats a summary. Paid plans add more advanced models and higher limits.
