Rank Math

Rank Math is a WordPress SEO plugin that covers similar ground to Yoast: per-post titles and descriptions, sitemaps, canonical tags and a content analysis panel that checks a post against a focus keyword. Its free version includes several features other plugins keep for paid tiers, such as more structured data types and a redirect manager.

An optional AI add-on, Content AI, suggests keywords, questions and links and can draft text inside the editor. It runs on credits, separately from the free plugin.

If you are choosing between Rank Math and Yoast, either does the job for a typical blog. Pick the one whose interface you find clearer, and avoid running two SEO plugins at once, since they will output duplicate tags.
